Here are a few of the enhancing features of these PACEs. Students will:

  • Learn correct pronunciations, parts of speech, and varying definitions for words.

  • Write original creative sentences using the spelling words of the PACE.

  • Practice good handwriting by using primary guidelines.

  • See how word endings change the tense, person, or part of speech of a word.

  • Have opportunity to learn entertaining types of poetry, do guided drawing, and work puzzles.
   
Word Building Self Tests and final Tests on CD-ROM (Levels 2-9) use digitized speech technology to present the oral portion of the vocabulary test. Each CD-ROM contains one full academic level of tests. The series is designed for use on an IBM-compatible computer system equipped with a CD-ROM drive. Sound is generated through the computer speaker and optional sound card support is included.
